Code Green wins maintenance contract for North Star Mall
San Antonio, TX - Ken Melton, owner of Code Green, can officially add another notch in his belt. Code Green Landscaping has come away with a full maintenance contract for North Star Mall, beating out big dogs like Maldonado's, Milberger's, and 25-year contract holder, Hayden Landscaping. "Relentless follow-up", says Melton, after calling David Stettler several times, the operations manager for General Growth Properties, the owner and operator of North Star Mall. The one-year agreement puts Code Green in charge of everything from install, maintenance, lawn care, irrigation, and even design consultation. Stettler added, "We were looking to get some new ideas and really improve our curb appeal. Looking at Code Green's website really helped our decision and showed the level of quality work they could perform." |

Downtown Radisson wants Code Green to maintain grounds
San Antonio - David DeSimone, General Manager of the Phoenix Hospitality Group, the firm which manages the grounds for the Radisson in downtown San Antonio, is pleased to have chosen Code Green for their maintenance needs under a one-year agreement. “Ken and his team are up for the challenge, and we look forward to working with them”, adds DeSimone. Code Green will be responsible for irrigation, tree trimming, lawn care and other types of general grounds maintenance that will ultimately improve the curb appeal for the hotel. Ken Melton, owner of Code Green says “it will be a pleasure to work with Phoenix, as they are a top-notch management group.”

Sea World continues partnership with Code Green
San Antonio - Sea World has decided to extend the workscope, and the contract for grounds maintenance with San Antonio-based Code Green. Frank Jonas, Director of Park Grounds and Landscaping says “we were 110% pleased with Code Green’s work last year that it was a no-brainer to continue the relationship.” Sea World has been recognized for several awards for landscaping design by the Texas Department of Agriculture. This year, Code Green will aid the maintenance staff at Sea World for their season opening in March. Ken Melton adds “we are happy that Se World has given us this opportunity, and that we can be involved with some of the State’s best landscaping projects.” |

Gordon Hartman chooses Code Green Landscaping for new community
San Antonio - Gordon Hartman recently chose Code Green to provide various landscaping for the Villages of Stone Oak. The project included the installation of 39 live oaks in the entrance to the community off north Stone Oak Parkway. David Klaussen, Director of Purchasing for Gordon Hartman, feels that "Code Green was the best fit for our needs, and we are very pleased with their level of service and professionalism." Code Green owner Ken Melton says "hopefully, our attention to detail is what impressed David, and will ultimately continue to develop our relationship." Code Green also plans to contract with Gordon Hartman on backyard landscaping packages that buyers can add to their upgrade list. |

Code Green performing landscape install at Shops at La Cantera
San Antonio - It didn’t take Cyrena LeVine, Project Manager for The Whiting-Turner Contracting Company, long to notice Code Green Landscaping as a viable source to help with the massive landscaping efforts for The Shops at La Cantera. Code Green will be one of many sub-contractors used by Whiting-Turner to help launch the grand opening of the Shops on September 14 th. “We are extremely excited that we were recognized as a source for this high-profile project” says Ken Melton, owner of Code Green. The landscapers will be in charge of installing all of the landscape and materials, as well as a complex irrigation system. LeVine notes that “we are happy with Code Green’s professionalism and their determination to help us finish this project on time.” |

Code Green lands deal with Sea World for landscaping and maintenance
San Antonio - Sea World in San Antonio, Texas has named Code Green Landscaping as one of three contractors to provide various landscaping services to their growing operation. In addition to installing landscaping materials, Code Green will also assist Sea World with training on their MAXICOM irrigation system along with monthly inspections, which is the same system that Microsoft uses at their Redmond, WA corporate headquarters. Byron Surrett, VP of Operations at Sea World, says "we look forward to working with Code Green. They have a great reputation in the community." Code Green will also provide various trees for the Lazy River project, along with re-sodding the Clydesdale's area of the park.
